As a boy I remember hearing my father preach that great sermon, Sinners in the Hands of An Angry God by Jonathan Edwards; Edwards’ text for this quote was Deuteronomy 32:35. Excepting that he utilized modern English, my father went word for word from this oration by Edwards. Below is just one paragraph of Pastor Edwards’ most well-known work; a powerful anointing rests in its words for it is simply the truth of God’s Word.
